The Bersa Thunder-380 is a double action semi-automatic pistol produced by the Argentine manufacturer, Bersa S.A. Company. It is designed as a self-defensive side arm for civilians, police and military. The Thunder 380 offers a high level of protection with cool ergonomics. It uses a simple blowback operation with a return spring that is placed around the barrel. Its safety device is seen at the left side of the frame. This safety automatically de-cocks the exposed hammer when switched on. An internal firing safety also blocks the firing pin while the trigger is not yet pressed. The magazine release is easy to access since it is just placed above and behind the trigger guard, at the left side of the frame and underneath the slide top lever.
