Turkey and the Middle Eastern Recipes

Turkey is renowned for its Middle Eastern recipes, special preparations and tea consumption. “Come visit this country for history and stay for food,” it is said about Turkey. This country’s main attraction is, for every visitor, exoticism. Turkey has introduced for centuries tourist circuits, because of its charm represented by the meeting between Western and Eastern civilization. The cuisine is a blend between modern and tradition, influenced by the Hittites, Persians, Greeks and Romans. Turkish cuisine is famous the Ottoman Empire, which had a peak period from 1453 to 1650. Turkish cuisine has had the greatest influence, especially in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Many Turkish recipes can be found, in these areas: salad with yogurt, fish in olive oil, stuffed vegetables, and desserts with syrup. Apart from interesting combinations, Mediterranean diet, in general, is also famous for being very healthy and it is recommended to consume it as often as possible.
